Digitalizing your hand-drawn art

Mon Jul 21, 2008, 2:26 PM

  • Listening to: All shall perish
  • Reading: the 5 people you meet in heaven
  • Watching: next
  • Playing: guitar
  • Eating: cheese
  • Drinking: water
I've come to the conclusion that I really dont like it when people scan their hand drawn art and then edit it on the computer
It just doesn't seem right :( I mean its arguably cheating. Your having a computer do the work for you. In my opinion(feel free to argue here :]) its different for photography, because technically your not creating the picture, your capturing it, and I think that its fair for you to add your own personal touch only because you didn't "MAKE" the art. But editing a piece of art that you made is like the myspace whore who edits acne away, its just not who YOU really are
yah know?
